Why Barre Fitness

Barre fitness is based on the principle of isometrics combined with stretching. Isometric exercise is considered to be the fastest way to build and sculpt all the major muscle groups. It is ideal not only for the experienced exerciser but also for people with little to no exercise experience.
Isometrics can be used early in a rehabilitation program, it helps to prevent muscle and strength losses, achieves maximum muscular contraction and increase strength faster than ANY other form of exercise. It increases neurological strength and recruits more muscle fibers for each movement. It is a great way to teach proper biomechanics and is not only safe for the back but strengthens the often neglected posterior muscles it also serves to protect the back at all times throughout the entire class.
